Police: Derision Over Flatulence Was Stabbing Motive

A 21-year-old city man charged with stabbing four people at a party Saturday night, killing one, told investigators he became enraged because people were criticizing him for passing gas, police said.

Marc Higgins, who was described by witnesses as being "very drunk," stormed out of the party, came back armed with three knives and started stabbing people indiscriminately, according to court documents released Monday.

I don't know about silent, obviously they were deadly.

That happened a couple of towns away from me......couldn't believe it when i heard it....just shows the society we live in know....people don't think twice about killing someone....almost makes you think twice, before you say something to someone....ya never know if they will snap!!

However since when is it acceptable to walk around a party farting? Think about it, either they were nasty or they were loud. I can understand one slipping but geez at least have the decency to step outside to let her rip.

However since when is it acceptable to walk around a party farting? Think about it, either they were nasty or they were loud. I can understand one slipping but geez at least have the decency to step outside to let her rip.

kids now a days i guess have no manners......a lot don't respect adults.....whatever happen with just a plain old fist fight....now we need weapons.....i had a friend son maybe 3 years ago on New Years eve get stabbed to death.....i guess some guest weren't invited to the party or something...he asked them to leave and gets stabbed over it...very sad....so many story's like that here and around the country.....who disciplines kids now a day...seems parents can't....and teachers can't....everything comes to a law suite....

I knew some people that were investigated for child abuse. One of the kids got mad at the parents and while on the school bus he repeatedly hit himself until he had a bruise. Told the school nurse that his dad beat him and the nurse turned it in. Dad almost lost his job over that because he was charged with a felony and had he been convicted he would have been terminated. When CPS was investigating they told the kids, if you parents ever hit you, even spank you call us and we'll take care of it.

Now when my ex and his sisters threatened to call the police on mom for spanking them, she replied with "Better tell them to send an ambulance because if you do that by the time they get here you'll need it"

my nephew a few years back.i think he was 5 or 6....dialed 911 because he got sent to his room!!!
