From a music standpoint, I thought it was a pretty typical show. "When I'm 64" was pretty cool. I will comment that the crowds here are not the same as in the states. Everyone sat in their seats until the final song of the main set list. You got scolded if you stood. Every now and then pockets of people standing and dancing would pop up, then be back down by the end of the song. I have never seen so many people dancing in their seats while others sat there politely. It just did not have the same vibe as a result. I moved out to the side aisle and danced along there.
There was a short opening act - a local group that was pretty good but rather sedate. Then Jimmy just came out without the usual "Hot Hot Hot" to rally the crowd. There was a video screen but it was not really used effectively - mostly beach scenes.
The parrothead bay cruise before the show was off the charts fun. In some ways I thought it was more fun than the show itself. I have high hopes that tonight's crowd will be a little more involved for more of the show.

I got stuck with the fun police again tonight - this time it was an american lady - had objections to me being up and dancing
I hope on wednesday I get with the standing up dancing people!!!!
