Why not? If a former porno queen (Tracy Lords, Marilyn Chambers) or a disgraced Miss America (Vanessa Williams) can become a legit actress, or a dead actress (Marilyn Monroe) can be co-opted to sell wine posthumously — Marilyn Merlot, anyone? — then why can't Ron Jeremy lend his name to a brand of rum?
