Has any word or mention of possible ...heart attack come up??? I hope not, just wondering???

Me too! Although he's in great shape.....he's not a spring chicken.......those bones will take more time to heal this time around....

He could not be in better hands than St.Vincents Hospital. One of the most reputable hospitals in the world.

He was totally fine before he fell - we think he could not see he was at the edge because of the lights or something. He was smiling and waving at the crowd and then there was no floor beneath him - his face changE (that is all I can see now - the look on his face) and he just "disappeared" - no heart attack - no nothing - just a fall.

Jimmy was only saying tonight at the concert that people say he has the perfect life and he then went on to say that he has had more than his share if mishaps and bad luck seems to find him - he than sang "Jamaica Mistaica"

Anyone who saw him AFTER the fall.........was he moving his arms and/or legs???

Wow.....he won't wanna come back to Australia now!!!!!!!!!!!! ***ducking***

UPDATE: St. Vincent's tells TMZ Buffett is in stable condition and will remain in the hospital for observation.

"Most" people stayed in their seats -respecting his space. There was a few rude poeple that went up for a gawk. It was dark - we could not see - however, the newspaper article has it as a head injury - no mention of limbs. So guessing they are ok .

Sad, sad news....hoping for a speedy recovery.

To add to the paper article - the promoter was quite rude. He came on stage said "there has been an incident" - like the whole bloody place saw it .... and rudely just told us to leave. We were all standing quietly - politely and with respect and did start to move when asked. It may have helped if he did say Jimmy was ok or conscious or something .... or that an announcement would be made outside as soon as they hear. We are not idiots - we did not intrude on the space and were genuinely concerned.

I also thought I would wait till told to go, as I said to my friend, I did not know if they would rather us stay in there, move him out and have the roads clear and not clogged with us leaving, to get him to the hospital.

OH NO! GET WELL JIMMY!

Tons of prayers going out to Jimmy and all the fans who witnessed it - I can't imagine what that was like.
I have my Mom praying - her line to God is probably in better shape than mine!

I agree, Mr Chugg (promotor) did a poor job on informing the crowd of the situation. He just kept saying "please leave, please leave" and talking to individuals at the front over the microphone - very unprofessional.
