Thanks. Obviously I scanned it, but I am sure he has the negative somewhere (I am certain there are some out there saying "what's a negative?").chippewa wrote:Great shotY-NO-9-O wrote:.
"Is this JB with The Eagles?"
No, but this is:
l to r: Glenn Frey, JB, Joe Walsh and Don Felder
Don Henley is on the drums and unrecognizable (back when he was the only drummer)
Jimmy opened for the Eagles' Hotel California (1977) and The Long Run (1980) tours. This picture is from Jan '80 at Florida Field (before it was renamed Ben Hill Griffin Stadium) in Gainesville. This is right after they sang "Greeks..." as an encore. My brother snapped this photo. He also got a shot of Jimmy holding a baby earlier in the day. That baby is none other than Savannah Jane (at the time she was 7 months old). I've often wondered if Jimmy would like a copy of that picture.
BTW, the Eagles "rugby" shirt Jimmy is wearing cost around $8 (if you wanted to splurge), otherwise you just bought the t-shirt which cost $6. My how times have changed.
Love it!!Y-NO-9-O wrote:Thanks. Obviously I scanned it, but I am sure he has the negative somewhere (I am certain there are some out there saying "what's a negative?").chippewa wrote:Great shotY-NO-9-O wrote:.

It was definitely for the Walden Woods thing. If so, that is the Westwood One concert I was referring to.looking4OPH wrote:Was that the 9/6/93 concert at Foxborough? Or was there another? The first Walden Woods show was at the Worcester Centrum (now I think it is called the DCU center) and it was around April 25 1990. I want to say Henley, Schmidt, Buffett, Frey, as well as Bonnie Raitt were there. There might have been one other Eagles member as well. I am pretty sure there were other singers. But there TV stars that made a passionate plea to help save the land. I would love a copy of that show and have been looking forever.Tiki Torches wrote:It was definitely for the Walden Woods thing.
