I only asked because I knew people that had been to a Buffett show in Pittsuburgh would be able to give me information about what I could expect for tailgaiting.

I would much rather be talking about Buffett concert dates but since they haven't been released yet I guess we can't really do that now can we. Thanks for the helpfully post; for those that did.

Our first Buffett show was in Pittsburgh a few years back -- what virgins we were -- no decorations/costumes/fun games. But we did have food and drink. I do remember sitting in a somewhat gravel/dirt area and heading to the wooded area for some girl scout tree-hugging because the potty lines were just wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long!

The tail gate area for Post G is endless, plenty of room for parking, not enough porto toilets - but the best advice is to get there as early as you can ..... They do a very poor job of directing traffic from the street, and once the line gets backed up, you will wait for hours

Star Lake has always been my favorite venue but the parking and traffic has gotten worse and worse every year. But once you get in it's a great tailgate.

Looks like no 'Burg show. He's actually got a Cleveland show scheduled on 7/19. That's funny. Rumor has always been that Jimmy would never play Blossom again after many concertgoers were busted last time for open containers.

Had a feeling that he would skip Pittsburgh this year after last years show did not sell out.

Too bad.

A little quick to be throwing in the towel, I think.
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

I like this inside info you offer, Amo! I love going to Pittsburgh but last year, I was an angry Parrothead and I can only assume it was the new management. First, waiting what seemed like FOREVER to even get into the lot (they didn't have as many lines coming in as in years past, am I right?) and then the waiting to get into the Pavilion at concert time. I was so annoyed.

I live a mere 10 minutes from Blossom, but my group is only buying lawn tickets for that concert JUST IN CASE for some stupid reason he doesn't play in Pittsburgh. We have grown to LOVE the Pitt concert and our Pitt friends. Fingers crossed for an announcement soon!!!! :wench:
