I hope so. Even without the tailgating, there's nothing quite like that excited feeling you get when you first start to hear HOT HOT HOT! I'll still wear my leis and hula skirt! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Bristow Live nation tix "MAP" is gone!

Post by Griz »

did anyone notice Live nation took down the "Use the map to buy tickets" function???
I bought a dead center orch ticket last night. I was checking the map and kept seeing THOUSANDS of empty seats. This will be really interesting if the place is only half filled. What do you think they'll l blame it on??

the date change to a weekday.??
JB's popularity fading??
No tailgaiting?
JLL a royal pain in the arse??
And I can play this here guitar,,
Gonna thank my lucky stars.

Thank you stars!!

If you bought them on LiveNation/Ticketmaster, you can still get a FULL REFUND until 5PM today. I got my 8 lawns refunded Friday and the $$ was back in my account yesterday morning.
Also, at least two DC radio stations with different formats, 94.7 FreshFM and Big 100.3 are giving away tickets.
VA BEACH (97,16), BRISTOW (98-12, 15, 17,18, 21), NASHVILLE (99, 17), COLUMBIA, MD (00), GREENSBORO (01-02), RALEIGH (03), ANTIOCH, TN (03), CHULA VISTA (04), PHILADELPHIA (05), LAS VEGAS (06-16, 19), HOUSTON (07), ATLANTIC CITY (07), FRISCO, TX (08).

I am still shocked I got a full refund. I'm even more shocked becuase I bought them with a card that I had to cancel due to fraud and they refunded the $ onto my new card that was from the same company that issued the first one.

It will be very strange if the place is half full, i actually feel kind of bad for Jimmy and the band. I know they get paid regardless, but i can't believe it does much for their egos looking out at all the empty seats, and you know performers and their egos. All this BS is completely out of their control.

On the bright side, half full means less traffic! We're going and going to have a great time.

Pretty certain I am not going,
but if I change my mind ....
.... I'll drive myself.

I've finally started driving my new truck this week. Woot!

But again, I think I'll skip the show this year,
thus breaking a 33 year streak.

Hmmmm .... unless I decide last minute
to go to Vegas or Paris.

12th row center online at TM if anyone is interested. :-?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

If I lived closer I might consider picking up one of those good tickets that are available now. But to drive 250 miles, spend $157 for a concert ticket, pay for a hotel, tolls and $4.00+/gallon for gas (at least that's what it is here on LI), it's not worth it without being able to tailgate.
