Got mine too. And my Volvo's back seats fold down so it should tailgate nicely.

Really???? Mine does...I just put a tablecloth over the trunk (and if you're careful) it works pretty well! The hood works too.

As much as I love seeing Mac McAnally at the State (assuming he plays there is this year) I think I am going to have to pass and see John Prine at the Wolf Trap. With Richard Thompson opening, that show is guaranteed to be incredible! Another thing to consider is that Buffett will be playing in Indiana on the 25th. To get from Indy to Falls Church, Va is a good ten hour plus drive. I just don't see Mac making that trip and then performing that night. In the past there are usually two Buffett dates with a Mac show sandwiched in between while they are in the same state, ex. Camden, NJ, Bristow, Va. I hope I am wrong, but it just doesn't seem likely in my opinion.

We got our tickets. Big group this year, at least 12 maybe 13. I am going to need to get a CDL at this rate and buy a bus.

Got our tix (Orch.3)and definitely plan to tailgate. The last 3 years we've been in VIP parking and had no trouble putting up our tent and grill. I had to wait about 5 days after the tix sold out for VA Beach for the VIP parking to be available, so I'm hoping the same for Bristow.I was the first person in line this am and there were no parking tix at 10. Maybe they just release these tickets later?

I've been to Bristow the past 5 consecutive years and the tailgating is fine......just as long as your are of legal age to drink and don't walk around with open containers of alcohol being a jerk. For the most part, the police officers are just doing their job. And being a police officer at a Buffett concert can't be easy....

And, I'm happy to report, 2011 will be our 6th straight year at Bristow! All thanks to Saltx3 and PA Parrot being kind enough to endure the TM/LN lottery in our absence and score us 2 seats in Section 204.....you guys are the best!
