Jiffy Lube says that Parrotheads should not be concerned about the new "no tailgating" policy.....lots open at 3 pm, gates open at 6 pm and there will be plenty of $8 beers and $13 margaritas for all!!!!!!

The first year Jimmy played Nissan, I went to the show. It was damb near if not over 100 degrees when the show started, and they made us dump out the liter bottles of water we brought with us. Conveniently, 20 yards inside the gate was a water salesman selling 20 oz bottles for $3. I swore I'd never go back, and that was my last show until 2008. I can stop going again.

Total bummer on the tailgating. I was thinking of heading down there but without the party to see my friends, why? It was fun while it lasted...
On a side note, as others have said, I believe it's safer to let the tailgate go on than to have people partying in various places then get in cars to go TO the show.

This is the same thing they said last year... It got my father in law so scared, we hid our alcohol really well but couldn't bring the grill and more food that needed open preparation... Turned out, the tailgate was still fantastic but we all got too drunk because we didn't have the food at 100%! This is ridiculous on JLL's part so screw it! We're coming fully loaded this year and I'm going to bring enough for those that got scared to bring the grill. Fins Still Way Up!
