Re: RIP Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy)
A lovely guy.
We met him 20 odd years ago in our local Toys r Us. We just said "Hi" thinking he would probably ignore us, but he had a bit of a chat. We went back the following week and this time he was also there but he approached us for a chat.

Re: RIP Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy)
He started out with a power trio called Skid Row, in the UK, not to be confused with the later group with the same name. He played with Thin Lizzy, which is how I got to see him perform live the first time. Then he went solo and did a variety of styles, finally reverting back to his roots in the Blues. He did a number of great albums, working with the likes of B.B. King, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, John Lee Hooker and others. I got to see him about 5 years ago and while he might have been older, his playing hadn't diminished at all. He will be missed.
