FA cup 5th round
I know soccer is alien to most of you but Sally and I are off to Manchester on Saturday to watch our local team, Crawley Town to play MUFC in the FA cup. MUFC are top of all the leagues in England and Crawley are a non league club. It is 17 years since a non league club has reached this stage of the FA cup. No tailgates in English football but should be great day for us.

I like soccer. My son played for a club and school soccer for 12 years. He even had a coach at one time that played with Manchester.

Played and coached the game as an adult for nearly 20 years.
Retired from playing (adult rec leagues) at age 43 when I realized I was on the field with 18 year olds
who were running circles around me and kicking my ass.
Plus it was usually 3 days after a game before I could walk without hurting.
That told me it was time to retire.

Would love to see Crawley Town beat Manure! I hope the ManU players don't take them seriously enough, but I'm sure Sir Alex will whip em into shape.
I'm a Fulham fan and wish I could make the trip across the pond to Craven Cottage to see them play this weekend. I was luckily enough to catch a match there a few years ago.
COYW!

Not really a soccer fan and I don't follow it at all (unless it is World Cup time), but that bicycle kick goal the other night (for/against Manchester?) was unbelievable!
