Screen Names -vs- Facebook Names

Sorry everyone, I'm from Arkansas originally(insert joke here)..

I have a lot of people want to be friends on face Book and I don't know everyone's real name verses what they use as a sign on here? Is there a past link??

I've pretty much used that moniker here, there and everywhere for over thirty years. Always a lower case spelling too by the way.

Every once in a while I run across a *surfpirate* imposter online and it always p*** me off. When that happens I'll usually register as thesurfpirate.

That does have a few people on there.. But what if you don't know the name they use at BuffetNews?? A cross-reference sheet..

Your are right...

Exactly. Sharing of any personal information is strictly voluntary. If you get one of those "friend suggestions" on FB, you can always write and and ask how you know them. I've done it

I still think it is a good idea
on Facebook I look a lot to mutual friends......I can usually comfirm there if they are from BN or scuba or whatever.
