You should be able to upgrade TR for free, you need your purchase key and depending on how old your software is, they may have to provide you with a new one, even if you have your old key. That's what happened to meconched wrote:I also use Total Recorder to record and track the music, but I have an old setup. Now that I have a new computer, I'll be trying to figure out how to do some new things too with Total Recorder. It's a good thing my old computer still works somewhat; it's always a good one to fall back on.
BR, do you want to make a CD or just save mp3 files on your computer?
I have always used Roxio Easy CD Creator to make my CDs, but I don't make many CDs anymore.
Cleff notes version on TR is that it records directly on your hard drive. You can save it into various formats but primarily I use .mp3 and .wav or whatever it is for cd quality recordings. mp3's are uploaded to my phone and then I burn the cd's direct from the hard drive.Crazy Navy Flyer wrote:I plug into the headphone jack on the laptop, RCA plugs on the other end of the cord, plug into my stereo receiver and record onto tape. I can plug my cassette player into my turntable and somehow run that to the computer and make a CD. Never tried making the CD but there is a way.
How does Total Recorder or Gold Wave work?
How do you upload the mp3 to your phone...is it for your ipod on your phone?ph4ever wrote:Cleff notes version on TR is that it records directly on your hard drive. I have a HTC EVO. You connect the phone to the puter via the USB, open it as a folder and then copy it over to the music folder on your phone.conched wrote:How do you upload the mp3 to your phone...is it for your ipod on your phone?ph4ever wrote:Cleff notes version on TR is that it records directly on your hard drive.
