Atlanta Show pulled

The link to the Atlanta show was killed in Live-nation and on ticket master . That's worrisome. All I can think is that they had previously agreed to announce it, then were told no . I'm emailing Snake , He will usually reply to me honestly, I can't verbatim repeat what I'm told but can at least hint as to if he has any work scheduled.

Bizarre Spring for sure. I do know we've been spoiled the past few years with early dates for the most part. But, I still believe the fall is a bit larger than it was made out to be.

I keep thinking of Jane's point of view along with Jimmy's kids. To see dad fall off the stage at age 64 might definitely mean there's at least a "bug in his ear" about scaling back or more.

Perhaps a communication breakdown between ATL and Buffett management. Some people have mentioned no summer tour this year, which I think is not real far fetched. I am waiting til next Friday at the latest for dates, until I spend my Buffett Reserve Money on some other vacation.

My daughter works for a booking agency in LA that mostly deals with the music industry. She said more than likely, Atlanta was a premature link release. Live Nation usual mode is to release multiple dates on Monday’s. She said to look for a number of dates to be announced Monday with ticket sales Saturday. The Atlanta date should be good.

Premature link release? I think they have pills for that.

Maybe it did take a pill...did the post last more than 4 hours?

Get ready for a Southeastern concert "push" for areas like Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas and other areas that are a an easy drive from Biloxi as it gets closer to time for the casino to open. I mean if he's going to play the shows anyways he might as well use them to build up business for his Gulf coastal businesses.
I'm hoping that when he does start scaling back his tours he will start doing shows at the casino in a Las Vegas or Branson style where he performs for weeks at a time.

Jimmy looks pretty hale and hearty in the video just posted on the news section. :D He's back to world traveling since he was in Panama.
Frankly I think performing on stage is one of the safer activities Jimmy participates in. If his wife/kids are worried, the planes, trips to exotic places and adventurous hobbies are prolly much more concern. I think I remember him mentioning that he was hiking a glacier then they decided to head to the southernmost point of South America (Party at the End of the World) :o And those loop de loops in the bi plane.... :o

I imagine that logistics and not wanting to repeat announcing and then retracting a venue are more of a reason for being later on concert dates. There were tons of people furious a while back when some dates that had been announced were later cancelled. I'd think twice about doing that again too. :P

It had been standard proceedure for an add to run in the AJC announcing the show the weekend before tickets went on sale although I don't recall having seen an add the past two years. If it makes a difference, I saw no add yesterday.
