5th Annual Frisco Feeding Frenzy - 5/21/11

I helped Paul of Pink Duck Ink print the dunk tank shirts yesterday. I must say they are pretty awesome. Car is packed and I am ready to travel. Are we there yet?

My saddest note of the whole FCC was not getting to be in the tank, but joddster and then that lean large busted string bikini clad girl wrapped it up. And I was right there ready to get in. Oh well. Maybe there will be extra shirts for wannabe dunks

Missed my Phamily this weekend.....

Made it home before 1 pm this afternoon. Laundry and rest and lots of kisses and purrs from the furry children!

Had a wonderful time as usual...fun and friends keep getting better and better!

I have one concern and this is probably directed more to those that arent really regular posters here but were in the lot.....please pick up your leftover stuph and deposit it
with the other garbage bags....the cleaner we leave it the more likely we will be able to continue to have the lot.....is that tactful enough for ya J-S?? Just sayin'

Just arrived home. A bit weary from the late night and drive back, but have happy feet inside. Great weekend with great people. Thanks to all who chipped in and helped out. It makes our lives easier. Love to all.

I put this up on the set list thread, but wanted to share with ya'll, too.

I have a story about the encore last night.

Two rows ahead of Tyler and me (and the wonderful Boys from Boston) was a girl ... she couldn't have been 30 ... with a reporter's notebook. All night she was writing down the set list (obviously, she knows nothing about our SunLover) ... anyway, when Jimmy started LGTT, everyone around us got a real puzzled look on their faces.

The girl with the reporter's notebook said something to the girl right in front of us.

The girl in front of me - who says she's been following Jimmy for years - turned around and said, "The reporter from THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS wants to know the name of this song. I don't know it, either."

Tyler and I knew. I raised that boy right.

Oh, yes....quite a few bidders...went for over $100 and I do not remember who got it but I believe it was not anyone we were familiar with.

My group of 6 all had an awesome time. We will definitely do the FFF again next year. Thanks to all of you organizers and for making it easy for us to set up and not have to worry about cooking for ourselves this year!

I can't believe it, but we missed the party!! We were wandering around looking for the lot when we stumbled into someone else's tent (still have no clue who they were)...hours later, we stumbled into the show. Hopefully next year!!!

Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for the FFFV. I had a wonderful time hanging out in the lot with my friends (old and new) and at the concert. A special big thanks to JustShari for going around our lot and picking up all the trash after the concert last night. Also, big thanks to ETP for taking good care of me when I got way too hot yesterday. Ya'll rock! I'm looking forward to next year.

No problem getting home today.

I literally cried when I heard it on RM. I mean, not sobbing or anything, but sniffly and there were real tears.

I just couldn't believe it. (I'm 35, btw. *grin*) I am so upset to have missed it, but I'm so glad I tuned in up here.

Ya'll please hold good thoughts for Tyler, as he's limping back to Knoxville with a damaged trailer axel and little sleep. A mother worries, you know. A tired mother *really* worries.

I have 700 photos from the first three songs to process, along with what I took on my personal camera.

As Jimmy was coming on stage, he caught the pink hair (I was down in front of the "other Charleston" at stage right with two other photogs) ... he did a double take and gave me a thumbs up.

The Boys from Boston sat near us ... what a delight they are.

More tomorrow.

Great party, great PHriends...new and existing. To everyone I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to...'bye'

Feet, ankles, knees all whining a bit today, but it's all good. Not doing much today but heading to the drug store for some burn-lotion. (I'd say I'll learn, but I did this same thing a few years back... didn't learn from that one :rolleyes: )

BIG TEXAS THANKS to all those that do what needs to be done (and then some) to make the Frisco Feeding Frenzy the great event it always is!!

Oh, Hippolyte...bad man! Sunscreen is your friend! Man, I got torched at the first FFF. It could've been a lot worse if not for nolestaylor, though. (Thanks again, Tracy, wherever you've gotten off to!) My sympathies.
