Okay, where's the preconcert activities at? I had fun at CIP last year thanks to the DPHC but looking for even more this year.

Hey everyone. Got our tickets and looking for the pre concert party plans. Anyone know if any area hotels that offer bus service to the venue and back? Just looking for any info as this is our first trip to Detroit!

we are also making our first trip to Detroit this year, and would love area information too. Good/close hotels, hotels to avoid, best way into venue, parking lot info. Any info would be great!! Hopefully there is someone that will share their wisdom

Well.......last season we got bizzaro Bret Michaels joining Jimmy onstage for a semi-forgetful Margaritaville.
This year the night after Jimmy Rob Zombie brings his macabre act to the stage along with Slayer.
Any chance Rob or any of the other frightfuls are CLOSET PARROTHEADS & bring their scary faces to the stage???!!!

I will help any out of towners with their planning in exchange for tickets (I'll pay for them). ticketmaster and my computer teamed up to make sure my tickets were tossed back into the pile and I was shut out.

I have been to DETROIT 2 times for BUFFETT shows..I love staying in ANN ARBOR !!!...its only about 6 to 10 minutes away..nice hotels and restuarants. GOOD LUCK !

Sorry I can't be of any help on places to stay/party...we always make the drive down rather late for party purposes...Mr Nutmeg always works until noon on concert day.
We are usually there in time for a short flocking with the great Pine Knob BNers. I've learned to bring dessert since we get there past lunch. This year I will try to think of something less messy than the mango and lime bars from last year.
Oh and since I have so much time to think about it this year (got tickets on sale day ) I'll try to think of some souvenier I can make for the group so be sure to get your name on the "who's going" portion of this thread or PM me if you want to surprise the rest of the group.
