Quote Franzen with a little Hootie and the Blowfish with a side of Jacque Cousteau. It is the 1986 Larry Bird of good impression quotable mixtures.

Here are a few tips...talk about golf with my dad and "accidentally" mistake my mom for my sister.
Oh, and whatever you do...don't drink too much.

Blossom said that they will probably not get the final information they need, to address their end of it, from Buffett's management group until a week or two before the concert. That drives things like gate openings, tailgating etc.
The band will be at Blossom no later then 2:00 or 3:00 with the sound checks being done between 4:00 and 5:00. They will not open the gates until all the band is inside the venue for security reasons. I will post more when I get it.

Im out at Blossom at -1pm, I went to check the tailgating situation- todays concert is Phish. They are all out tailgating right now. They have about 200 tents set up in one section of the parking lot.
I asked the parking lot attendant about the Buffett concert, she look at me and said "well, this is a little different, they travel from all over to see these guys play." My response of course was, well so do Buffett fans.
I asked her what time will the lot open for Buffett, she said no later then 4pm. (Because it is a week day.) I asked her if there was tailgating, she said, well we dont call it that. She didnt have an exact time, but they may allow the lot open as early as noon (depending on how many people show up early) She did not know the exact answer. But she said, they are way more lenient then the past, especially with certain concerts.

The parking lot for Blossom is scheduled to open at 4pm. No grills, and plastic cups are a MUST. (They said if the line starts backing up, they will open the lot early.) You can park on the side of the road (inside Blossom property, not on the main road- go figure) and set up until the lot is opened.
Meet and greet details soon. I will post the location here and on FB club page.
I was at the Kenny concert last week, and had no issue what so ever with tailgating.

I was also going to post that my sister went to the Kenny Chesney concert and said there were no issues with tailgating in the parking lot. Sounds promising!!!
Thanks for the info, Amo!
It's coming up...three weeks from Tuesday!!!
