Oh, hey! I remember you! Of course my parents are going. My sister & her husband couldn't make it. So I actually have 2 extra lawn tickets.

Looking forward to possibly meeting some new BN'ers and hopefully seeing some that I've met before.

Hello all. I can't believe it's only 1 week away!!! I know this has been discussed a few weeks back but what time does everyone plan on getting to Blossom? There's the "no tailgating" rumor going around but I was at the Kenny Chesney concert a few weeks ago and there was plenty of tailgating going on Even though I live here, I've never actually tailgated at Blossom before....even for Jimmy. We've always rented a bus for the show but this year we wanted to bring the car and actually tailgate. Any ideas on when the gates open?

Officially, 4pm. But who knows when they will really let us in. I'm sadly going to skip bringing my incredibly obvious tailgate grill and just bring snacks & margaritas at about 3pm or so. I figure in the unlikely chance that they really don't let us in until 4, I'll wait in line!

Does anyone think they will open the parking lot earlier than 4??? We are bringing a bus from Erie....leaving here at noon in hopes that the parking lot will be open by 2-2:30. Any suggestions on where we can park a bus for a few hours if we can't get into Blossom that early?

Can't wait for Tuesday - but in the mean time I have an important tailgating question for anyone who was at the Kenny Chesney show ! Were there any port-a-potties or bathrooms in the parking lot ???? This is really how Blossom used to control the tailgating in the past - no bathrooms means you can only hang out in the parking lot so long until you have to "go", so then you have to head on inside. As a warning, in the past at least they have been VERY strict about people going in the woods to do their business - not sure if this is still the case. Thoughts ?

Don't know if they will have port-a-potties but last year at the DMB concert tons of people used the woods and it wasn't a problem. I hope maybe they will have some port-a-potties, though.

I think we're going to leave Brecksville at 2-2:30 and will get out there around 3ish...hoping they will open the lots a little early and if not, like someone else said, we'll just wait in line.

i'll be there by noon...

Blossom is opening the parking lot at 4:00 ! This is ridiculous.

I emailed them to inquire about handicap parking and accessibility because I just tore a ligament in my knee and am still going to the show. He hasn't been to Blossom in at least 10 years - WHY? Becasue of the parking lot / tailgating issue.

Every other venue I've been to to see Jimmy, I've been in the parking lot partying mid afternoon!

I'll be on crutches and wearing flip flops!

I just got an email from Blossom saying they are not opening the lots until 4:00. Why are they telling people different times????

They may be saying this to deter as many people from coming early, but as soon as all the cars and RVs get lined up on Steels Croners, then R. 8 , then everywhere else, a major traffic jam will result in Blossom opening the gates.

I was at the last show he did in Blossom, it was July 1, 2004. That's 7 years ago. The way I learned math, 7 years is less than "at least 10 years."
