I've got a line in at the moment to see if they'd be ok with bringing camping chairs and the like into the block party. I'm thinking M'ville is going to be slammed (unless you grab a seat when the bar opens) and they might be agreeable to letting us bring those in rather than leave to go to other bars to sit down during the course of the day.

MCPHiNs Board had a meeting at the Nashville Margaritaville Wed evening and Margaritaville posted the attached pictured on their Facebook page.
Margaritaville will be donating part of their proceeds to the HandsOn Nashville Flood Relief program.
Note that Broadway will be fenced off at 3rd and 4th. You can bring lawn chairs in but not coolers, bags of food/drink or grilles. Get in carrying a single drink??? I don't know.
I know a bit more than what is on the poster but not much so I'll try to answer questions as best I can.

I'm glad there'll be food and drink and we don't have to worry about that, and that we can bring chairs ! And I hope there'll be drink specials, that's a looooooooooooong time and many drinks.

Any idea on what bands will play ???

For those pholks that were at the Nashville Margaritaville sneak peek Dusty was the downstairs band. Good lively pop/rock/country (some Buffett-ish and funky stuph) that will probably be OK but I (me personally) would have liked to have seen Ramajay/Tall Paul, the Boat Drunks or a similar band.

I think there will also be another performer but I'm not saying because I'm not 100% sure he will be there. He's from Florida and does not have a web site but he has performed at the Florida Margaritaville restaurants.
