Wonder if there's a such thing as a portable freezer? My cooler really doesn't carry much....

Looking forward to next week :)

I think garry is bringing plates, napkins, etc and I have a package of plates in my trunk unopened from last year, but some salads would be great!

As for a freezer--don't know, but if you surround things with lot of ice and frozen bottles of water, that tends to keep things for quite a while.

Dave--meant to let you know that the 4th seat at the table for Ilo is yours if you still want it!@
I can handle some salads, general side items fruit, snacks. I'm working on a folding table at the moment.

In fact, I just went ahead and started a spreadsheet on Google Docs. Anybody can add their name and what food items they're bringing and what tailgate gear they have. It should give us a pretty good idea of how many we're feeding and what items we're missing.

Ellen, I'll have to let you know by the middle of next week if I still want it, don't know if I have anything else I have to do that day.... If so, I'll make sure to give you the money when I see you on Saturday. If you find another taker on this, that's okay as well.

I filled something out, that's a pretty good idea the shared spreadsheet, how well does it translate to Excel?

Fairly easily to a Windows version from what I've seen. I love using the spreadsheets for things like this. It makes planning so much easier when you get can get a pretty good look at what's going on with a glance.

I haven't met an alcohol I don't like...yes I'll even drink Bud and I am partial to PBR or Hamms.

I have some rum I've been mellowing in a small barrell (2 litre) that I'm thinking of bottling and bringing with. Haven't decided if I'm going to spice it or not...the last one I spiced and it went really well with my own "POG" (Passion Fruit, Orange and Guava Juices), it's a juice you can get in stores in Hawaii, but I haven't found it here so I make do with buying the juices seperately and making my own :) Anyhoo, I might bring it along to help the party...
I'll have plenty of Corona and Red Stripe beers (and a 6 pack of Heineken, courtesy of my Georgia mistress), I'll also bring some Budweiser for you if you want. I like Hamms too, but it's been pretty scarce around here. Still, I'll look for some, and if I can find it, I'll bring it.
Again, thanks for all you're doing for us. It's appreciated more than you know.

I'm bringing paper plates, napkins, & plastic silverware.
We should be able to get all the ice we want that Saturday morning prior to meeting at McDonalds.

We didn't think this would get off the ground at first, but I think it'll be as good, if not better than any we've ever had.

Just some color to grab everybody's attention. Instead of posting in the thread with items that you're bringing, please click on the document below and add your name, number in your party and items you plan on bringing. It's a much easier way to give us an idea of what we're going to have, what we need and how many we're feeding at a glance, rather than scrolling through messages. I can't wait to meet you all next weekend!

Well, I can't open that link, so if you'd be so kind as to add my name, I'm coming with one other person, and will be bringing a 12 pack of Corona beer, 12 pack of Red Stripe beer, a 12 pack of Budweiser, paper plates, napkins, and plastic silverware, 5 lawn chairs, plus a few $$$ to give to the folks providing the food.
If you need my cell phone #, Dave (Glorfindel) has it.
As I said before, I really think this will be one of our better ones. (Not that the others haven't been a blast-but it looked doubtful if we'd even have a tailgate this year). Kudos to our entire crew.

I'm sure that's the link and you didn't have any typos, but I'm on my computer at work, and there's at least 13 ga-zillion firewalls on this damn thing. But thanks for copying my info onto it. See you Saturday. (Maybe Friday)?

and, a reminder that I do have an extra ticket--Section 130--if interested, please let me know!

I was hoping that hubby and I could make it to the tailgate at least, sounds like some fun is definitely to be had... but it looks like we will be back in Texas next weekend. If something changes, maybe we can make it out to Navy Pier Friday night.
