I know what you look like.Didn't I just see you in May?
Yes, you saw me in May.
I was the fat guy with a beer dressed in very warm clothing.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of that happening here right now.

That is pretty much what the forecast is here as well.

My car is full of stuff for Dark & Stormies and Tonga Juice, which pretty much means I'll explode in a car accident. I'm bringing a trunk full of love to Chicago. I may even be a Cubs fan by the time this over.

This is the year I am dedicating myself to a baseball team. The problem is that all three of my first choices are in the same division. 4th and 5th would include Cubs and Braves.

Well, I'm a Yankees & Cubs fan, and let me tell you, as far as fans go, two more polar opposites never existed.
If the Yankees don't win the world series, their season is considered a failure.
If the Cubs finish with a .500 record, there's a ticker tape parade on Michigan Avenue.

Boss got me into baseball years ago. He's a Yankees fan, thus I was a Yankees fan. Moved to Tampa, started cheering for the Rays. The thing is, I always liked Boston, too, just because I think I'd love it there and I've dated a few guys from the area. In all honesty, I paid so little attention baseball before last year that it didn't occur to me that all three of those teams were in the same division. That's like being a Dallas/Philly/Giants fan. It doesn't happen. Since I'm moving back to Tampa, I'm guessing I'll end up on the Rays side of the fence, but the constant are-they-moving rumors plague me.

Can't wait for the show on Saturday. Any word on anything going on Friday at Margaritaville? I know the Boat Drunks are playing at the beer garden but is anyone scheduled to perform at the Cafe?
Heading to Navy Pier for a few Happy Hour drinks.

I'm borrowing my sister's oversized canopy, so it'll be a bit bigger than the standard 10x10 E-Z Up. Given the heat and possible rain, I think it'll come in handy. I have a disturbing amount of alcohol in my apartment right now. I hope the Dark & Stormies make it to Chicago.

The website has never had this language before, but the policy is unchanged from previous years. My only question is that we want to enter the East Lot from 71st Street, and this seems to imply that the entrance is on Harlem. But since we are approaching from the south, in any case, we should be fine!

Yeah, it seems like they want to push the traffic from the south to use the feeder road that exits to the right just north of 71st and curves beneath Harlem, instead of letting them turn left at 71st. Seems to me that that could create quite a bottleneck later in the afternoon when more people arrive.
We usually come in from the North side and last year they wouldn't let us enter at the entrance on Harlem and were making everyone enter through 71st Street. Was a complete cluster, even the people that came from the south were forced to use the feeder to circle underneath Harlem then exit back out on the southbound side and turn at 71st Street.
