We all enjoy seeing live performances and I was just curious:
What artist/group do you wish you would have seen in concert, but did not?
For me, it was the Allman Brothers. Every time I hear one of their songs I'm sorry I missed them.......
What about you?
On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."

Bob Seger, "back in the day"
I walked out on the only time I had that chance. It was in a small venue and it was excruciatingly loud.
I did get to see him on his last concert tour though.
The Monkees
i was super crazy about them and would love to have seen them live.

The Beatles back at the beginning. But my father flatly refused to drive me and my 11 year old friends into NYC to see them! (It's tough when you don't have a license!)

Stevie Ray Vaughn...
I was just getting into his music when he died.
Not far behind would be the Beatles and Elvis.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

I've seen the Allman Brothers several times, with and without Dickey Betts, but I would like to have seen them when Duane Allman and Berry Oakley were still alive
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Bo Diddley
Jimi Hendrix
Otis Redding

I know I've told this story before but I'm old so I'll tell it again. When the Monkees were really popular back in the '60s they did a concert at the Forest Hills tennis stadium here in NY. My brother went with some of his friends but my parents wouldn't let me go because they thought I was too young. The Monkees had an opening act. Jimi Hendrix.

Van Halen, before Sammy.
But if you are talking all time, I would love to see many of the 60s/70s bands before they self-destructed or broke up; Zepplin, The Who, The Yardbirds, etc.

Saw the Beatles. Hendrix. SRV. Otis Redding just days before he died in the plane crash.
The ones I missed were the Allman Brothers and Townes Van Zandt.
Yesterday was Townes' birthday. Sail on, sweet troubadour.

I guess folks mean a certain era of the Allman Brothers Band as they're still touring.
I would have liked to have seen:
Led Zeppelin
Bob Marley & the Wailers
Bob Dylan at the Gaslight
Beatles
The Replacements
Jimi Hendrix Experience
R.E.M. during their club days
Lynyrd Skynyrd prior to the plane crash

Either the day of or the day after he died, I was at/went to work and this one guy there pretty much sat in front of his computer monitor staring at the screen. He was devastated. Totally and completely. I had seen them once or twice and thought they were good but not great. It wasn't later did I realize their influence on music.
