He wasn't fired via text. He and his attorneys were sent an 11 page letter with a 10 page attachment.

And there's a reason I should care about this?
People, not just actors making a bazillion bucks off of a snarky comedy show, get canned every day. They've got to worry about their kids, too. And they don't get to hire lawyers to sue for breach of contract, either.
Welcome to the real world. Mr. Sheen. Man up, suсk it up, learn from this, and move on.

Having an opinion and posting it is not necessarily the same as caring. It matters not to me what happens in Mr. Sheen's life, just as it undoubtedly matters not to Mr. Sheen what happens in mine.ph4ever wrote:you cared enough to post in this threadBicycle Bill wrote:And there's a reason I should care about this?

No surprise there. He has been publicly demeaning his bosses for the last few weeks.
If it had been any of us, we'd have been fired long ago.l

You gotta wonder what he'll do now - endorsements will be harder to come by - I mean Hanes (or was it Fruit of the Loom?) dropped him. I know he's made BIG time money but with divorces and child support, the drugs, the hookers etc I can picture a scenario where he lives fat paycheck to fat paycheck. I don't see him having an accountant or anything that he listens to!nutmeg wrote:No surprise there. He has been publicly demeaning his bosses for the last few weeks.

Re: Charlie sheen fired..
Well, that's a shame. I, however, think that some of the best and funniest writers work on that show. Maybe they ought to hire John Stamos after all. He IS better looking, more believable as a horndog.

I don't know if it's the same writers but I know it's the same producers as "Mike and Molly" and I LOVE that show.
I agree John Stamos is pretty nice eye candy. Charlie is definitely showing some wear and tear.

OK just now I read the title of this thread as "Charlie Sheen fried"
and my first thought was, "you're just now figuring this out?"

I'm thinking he'll fall on his feet and be even better off than before writing children's songs and performing...
