As someone who's been putting together something similar, the price doesn't surprise me
2 events...popcornjack wrote:what time does it start?
Thanks Dave. Pretty sure I'm in for 2, but I'll know for sure on Thursday.gunthermoose wrote:2 events...popcornjack wrote:what time does it start?
Afternoon event outside..
No admission/tickets pay for your own food, drinks etc
free music
Evening event inside-tickets needed
show usually starts around 8
Does it include the BBQ? Because we're not interested in that. If it does, then I can see an increase in the ticket price bu not that much.C-Dawg wrote:You have to put it in perspective....they are offering 8-12 hours of entertainment and a BBQ.... now-a-days, you pay $10 to go to a 2 hour movie.ScarletB wrote:At $65 for a ticket I may have to give this some thought too - I may opt for a beach day instead.![]()

I suppose that's worth it. Just a couple more summer jobs I need to support.gunthermoose wrote:no bbq.
outside free, inside $65. They say because they added Roger Guth and Nadirah increased her cost.
I guess what they paid Mac last year wasn't enough to cover it.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:I suppose that's worth it. Just a couple more summer jobs I need to support.gunthermoose wrote:no bbq.

I figure that whatever I do Friday night I will end up spending $65 or more so I would rather eat a Peanut Butter Sandwich for dinner and go to the show....but for $65,........I might have to steal the Peanut ButterScarletB wrote:I guess what they paid Mac last year wasn't enough to cover it.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:I suppose that's worth it. Yeah, I don't go to the movies eitherMy plan never included spending the day there when I could be at the beach instead, I was only going to go for the evening show just like last year. Besides, I have to have the money to spend on YOUR event in August!!
I'm still trying to decide what to do but I"m leaning towards skipping it.
Even if it DID include the food - which apparently it doesn't. Really makes you think about other options for the day.BottleofRum wrote:ScarletB wrote:C-Dawg wrote:You have to put it in perspective....they are offering 8-12 hours of entertainment and a BBQ.... now-a-days, you pay $10 to go to a 2 hour movie.ScarletB wrote:At $65 for a ticket I may have to give this some thought too - I may opt for a beach day instead.![]()

Same here, at that price I am not sure. I have a hotel room at the Comfort Inn for Friday and Saturday so if I did skip the Friday night show I could cancel the Friday night hotel and arrive Saturday morning, that would save me money. Plus I have Red Sox tickets for that Friday night that I was going to sell but now I could just go... Hmmmmm
You can also call the Sandbar and reserve tickets with a credit card, but it must be paid with cash by day of the show.gunthermoose wrote:still working out all the details..BottleofRum wrote:When do you need to know by for tickets?
let me know when you know...
payment rec'd..MikeSwissParrotHeads wrote:Well well well...
65$ ain't cheap - but I'm sure I would bite my *peep* if I would miss this!![]()
Dave, please count me in.
Maybe if someone staying in Foxboro (Red Roof, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn) would ping, we could share a cab?
I see in my crystal ball some adult beverages being involved, and DUI ain't an option...
It took my reservation confirmation from the Southfleet Motor Inn about a week...gunthermoose wrote:payment rec'd..MikeSwissParrotHeads wrote:Well well well...
