Somebody up there likes me today..... Maybe Big Al was keeping an eye out....

First thunderstorms. Then my GPS (which might just land in Zach's Bay tomorrow) decides to 'avoid traffic' and takes me through some parts of Brooklyn that I never, ever want to see again in broad daylight, never mind after dark.... I finally arrive at the hotel at about 11PM, frazzled as hell... And they can't find my reservation.... Well, that's because I effed it up and only made it for one night... TOMORROW.... Dumbass.... But he says he has one room left for tonight.... he KNEW he should save that room for an emergency.... and while I'm standing at the desk the phone rings and he tells the caller no, sorry, I just sold out....

Not so sure I'm going to make sunrise at Jones Beach tomorrow morning but I sure am glad our buddy is still watching out for us.
