Info according to CDIII: they are opening the lot at 8 am; he informed me that the officials in charge are making people wait in the field 4 lot until then.

Lots are now open "ophicially"for you late arrivers. We are in Field 5 all the way down front and have the BN flag flying.

I couldn't find the 'hole in the fence', so to speak, to get into the lot for the sunrise toast so I drove around looking out over the marshes and bays and had a nice chat with Allan.

Maybe next year we make a New England pilgrimage huh? I don't know if I'll be able to afford a lot of far flung adventures next year but things I can drive to maybe.

I went to Jones Beach in 2004 (one of my all time favorite set lists that year) as a warm up to Fenway Park and had a blast. I met a ton of Parrot Heads that day who I still hang out with all these years later. It is a "must" see venue for Jimmy Buffett. I had plans to go this year but new employment opportunities down south and travel to and from made it impossible. If Jimmy is back there next year or whenever I will be there. 2012 is an Alpine, Jones Beach, and Great Woods year.

I know it is late and you are all already having fun. But i just got word I can leave at lunch. Anyone have two tickets floating around?

It was great seeing everyone yesterday and for the most part the weather during the tailgate was the best it's been in recent years. But when those storms came through...wow.

As it turned out I actually had someone who didn't want to sit in the rain give us a pair of good tickets on their way out, too bad it was such a short show starting a little after 9 and over by 11 with only two songs in the encore, you could tell they were being rushed off.
Hopefully we will have better luck with the show next year.

I"m glad I didn't stay up to listen to it - I'm usually pretty easy to please set list wise but this one was really tepid at best.
I would not have been happy to have been stuck in a horrendous storm only to hear almost exclusively yellow album stuff.
