Want to see JB this year in Vegas as part of birthday package. Suggestions on best place to sit at MGM and date rumors.

Be patient Grasshopper, the food at the little kids table (west coast) gets served late.

Well I took a gamble and booked the Flamingo for the last 2 weekends in October. I am able to cancel up to 72hrs prior before check in so I figured JB should announce something by then

. Used the friends and family promo which gave me a good rate so figured what the heck. It's promo code PFFF10 if anyone else wants to take a "gamble".

Flaming has an awesome rate right now as does the other properties. I always stay here, just love the locations.
Making any reservations that you can cancell without penalty is great!

The rate at the Flamingo for Fri and Sat was $119 and we always stay Sunday night as well. Sunday was only $39 for the 23rd and $49 for the 30th. Now if Jimmy will cooperate and play the MGM one of those last two Saturdays in October we will be all set.

That is good... I go the third weekend... Go Room... 80/80/180/180/80 which is great.

Where did you find these rates? I've been checking all over the place and I find higher rates.. Must be my luck? Maybe I better not plan on going to Vegas if I'm already having bad luck just finding good rates?

Try this link

That should get you to the Friends and Family package page for the Flamingo. If the link doesn't work try google with flamingo friends and family in the search. Good luck.

Great Flamingo rates. I'm gonna chat with the wife about booking those tonight.
I miss Buffett in Vegas.
After missing last year did anything change? Still pre-parties at Hooters and Flamingo Street party?

Bring back the Key Largo! That was when it was fun to see JB in Vegas. Now it is over-priced, over-sold and over-rated IMHO.

Heard today on MV Radio of a possible tour date in Vegas to coincide with the opening of the new MV casino in August.
Personally I would rather go in October again.

That would be consistant with Jimmy showing up for grand openings like when the Las Vegas M'ville opened......... hope he still does October though....having grown up in that august heat I have no desire to return that time of year.....
