That is demonstratively slow for a JB show on Long Island. It certainly means that ticket "brokers" are more or less out of the game this year, and a good number of people are going to wait this one out. I picked up a seat five rows back dead center without much problem this morning; that has never happened before (at least not to me).
Slow I dont think so I called at 10:00 and my wife was online by 10:01 no tickets were available
I havent missed a show yet and have even beena guest of Jimmy and I cant get any tickets together. I tried for 6 then 5 then 4 nothing was available.

Tickets were gone by 10:02. I live on Long Island and i was on the phone and my wife on the computer and when we got thru at 10:02 all tickets were gone. We needed 6 together and couldnt get 2 together. Now I look on scalpers websites and they have thousands of tickets. Its disgusting that in a place were scalping is illegal Jimmys real fans cant see him. I wish he would add a show in this his summer home but its not likely. Looks like we are going to get shut out. Because of greedy scalpers. I dont know what that person up top is refering to how could ticket sales be slow if they were gone in a flash

I just checked Ticketmaster online. There are seats available for singles, including the upper level). I didn't check for 2 or more tickets.

Last year I was in Section D, Row L...there were only two rows of actual seats in front of me, but a bunch of VIPs were sitting in the gray area. I was right on the end where the band enters. Before the show I saw Savannah and talked with Cameron Buffett. When the show ended, I shook hands with each and every Coral Reefer. Security told me the same thing they told LIPH, no shaking Jimmy's hand. The show ended, he came walking out, walked right up to me and shook my hand, saying "Hey! Great to see you again!" (I met him once before...don't know if he was bullshitting me or not) I even got a picture of him at the same time. I got a seat in Section B yesterday at 10:00. I was kind of disappointed that I wasn't in Section D again.

FYI Currently Stub Hub has 2995 tickets for the Jones Beach Show with 1258 of them in the mezzanine. Good luck selling them. Could be possible cheap tickets closer to the show date. 8)

I too thought the show was sold out in two minutes but I kept trying and got two at 10:11 and kept checking back and finding other pairs.

As you get closer to the concert, try stub hub. The scalpers who bought tickets waiting to rip you off with outrageous prices will try to recoup their investment at face value or below. Got orchestra seats at Jones Beach last year for $ 135 each. two days before the show.
This also gives you a good weather guarantee for the show. $ 186 to sit in the rain is no bargain.

Had plenty of decent seats come up on Live nation but $ 375 a pair to hear Margaritaville for the 10th time doesn't cut it in today's economy. Will do the tailgate and listen to the show from the parking lot instead.
