Heard on the radio that Jimmy Buffett will be the roots salute artist on Rock N Roll Roots, 96.5 WKLH. Excellent radio program, airs Sunday from 9am til noon. Good way to gear up for Alpine!!! Hemingways tonight to see Pirate's Over Forty, it's finally acting like summer outside, it's going to be a good weekend!!

Mulling over the idea of returning to Alpine this year, but coming into it a little late. Does anybody have two extra rooms available?

I wish I could return the favor, but I didn't have the foresight to book rooms for my home show either. I hope it works out for you to make it, and perhaps I see you somewhere to buy you a beverage or two! (This thread is a wee bit different than the Tampa one, huh! I'm not sure why. Maybe there's a secret Alpine underground that I don't know about!)

Hi Tiki! We really lucked out... our friends found an awesome deal at a B&B about 12 miles away. We were really glad we could help you and BG out in Tampa! It sounds like you had a great time. We're hoping to have the same great time... and the way things are shaping up... we might have the same experience you did! Hope to meet you up there!

(May 27-29), Saturday Hemingways is doing a Fishstix Freddy Reunion starting at 8pm - 4 bands all together on 1 stage, playing non-stop trop rock / country rock beginning 8pm - NO COVER

Pirates Over 40, South Of Disorder, David Marshall & Johnny Russler and the Beach Bums

Consider it a rehearsal for the big show in 4 weeks.

Hope some of you can make it for a practice run!

I haven't been on here for about a month and I thought I'd have to read through a bunch of pages to catch up - NOT!

I recently lost my dear sister to Ovarian Cancer. The last 3-4 weeks have been so depressing. I could really use a positive distraction in my life and getting ready for the upcoming concert is exactly what I need.

We're just a few weeks away now... everyone getting excited???

I recently lost my dear sister to Ovarian Cancer. The last 3-4 weeks have been so depressing. I could really use a positive distraction in my life and getting ready for the upcoming concert is exactly what I need.

So sorry about your loss, but a Buffett concert at Alpine should give you just the distraction that you need!! we are totally ready and our group of 20 from Decatur, IL is gearing up and excited to give these 6 virgins with us a new experience!!! FINS WAAAAAYYYY UP!!!!!!

So sorry about your loss, but a Buffett concert at Alpine should give you just the distraction that you need!! we are totally ready and our group of 20 from Decatur, IL is gearing up and excited to give these 6 virgins with us a new experience!!! FINS WAAAAAYYYY UP!!!!!!

Luckily, this is my 4th show at alpine valley...our group started out as 6 at the 08 show and now is up to 20!!!! good times are contagious!!!!!

Our phlock has grown and this is the first year we will be taking our bus to Alpine. I see that parking is $100 and early entry is $20. What time does the lot open for "early entry"? Anyone else with a bus have additional info that might be helpful? Thanks!!

Last year I believe the lot opened up at noon, but I may be mistaken...they supposedly charged 20 per vehicle for early entry until 3 p.m.
