It's real. You can find it at the United States Patent and Trademark Office website where you can search trademarks.

Nope.

I can understand the decision to grab the rights to the name. My panties are not in a bunch over this.

Maybe that's just me.
:D I have to agree. I probably won't buy it but what the hey! Casket? I might have to look at that!

Might this be where we see who has the best lawyers?

Sure, Jimmy's lawyers have kept him out of the poorhouse, but Charlie's lawyers have kept him (mostly) out of the jailhouse.

So what?
Wasn't there an energy bar called "Tiger Milk" on the market back in the 1970s/1980s?
Tigerblood? Tiger Milk?
meh.

Besides, as a rule products that tie in to what is 'hot' in the public's mind never seem to do well over the long term. When's the last time you saw a "Reggie" bar or a can of "Billy Beer", f'rinstance?

I'm sure many people filed apps for the tm for "tigerblood". Question is who actually owns the tm now?

Who cares? The Margaritaville foods are not good. They were over priced and Kroger stopped carrying them. Plus is you read a box of Margaritaville shrimp, the only thing Margaritaville about them is the name. The company marketing the shrimp is using the name. Rather leasing the name

The more I think about this the more I believe that Jimmy and Charlie are in this together. Think about it.

I was thinking that, too. Jimmy has the contracts, contacts and production in place already. Adding a new rum or tequila to the existing line could be a pretty quick process. While Charlie is still around.
