They do. Rumour has it, that is what all the guys that work at the brewery drink. So they take very good care in brewing it. I've always liked it.Another Jimmy wrote:I'll toast to that!

Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

Re: Who's Going to Toronto - Sat. July 16
Nice touch, my friend.
Game on.
Great to see my boyhood idol, Niagara Falls, Ontario, native Derek Sanderson, saluted before the Bruins Game 7 victory last night in Boston.
As we know, it was a night in Derek's bar that inspired Jimmy to write Boat Drinks.
Jimmy’s Note on iTunes:
"It was February in Boston, and I was cold and wanted to go home. Rum and tonic was the antifreeze, and the newspaper was full of ads for warmer climates. I was in a place owned by Derek Sanderson, who was a very famous player for the Boston Bruins in the 70’s. I came out of the bar and couldn’t find a cab except for the one that was running in front of a nearby hotel. There was no driver in it, and I was too cold to think about the consequences. There is an old Navy expression which says, “Beg forgiveness, not permission.” I hopped in and drove the cab back to my hotel. I did leave the fare on the seat."
Twenty degrees and the hockey game's on
Nobody cares they are way too far gone

Have you got a Winnipeg Jet in your bag of tricks, to celebrate yesterday's news?

Good point.
And now Ottawa fans will want an NHL team, too!
(Also on that list: Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo.....)
Go Canucks.

Re: Who's Going to Toronto - Sat. July 16
We interrupt this hockey talk for a Toronto concert weekend announcement.....
From http://maplereefers.ning.com/events/sta ... head-party
Start the Parrothead Party Weekend with JACK MOSLEY
Time: July 15, 2011 from 6pm to 11pm
Location: Whistler's Bar and Grill
Street: 995 Broadview Ave
City/Town: Toronto, Ontario
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Jack, he’s a Florida-based, singer-songwriter and a top “Meeting-of-the-Minds” draw. He has several terrific CDs, and our own Norm Marshall performed backing vocals on one of them, “Heading South”! Jack’s most popular song is the sailor’s lifetime lament, “Small Boats on Big Oceans.”
Jack will be performing at Whistler’s Bar and Grill, upstairs in the Parrot Lounge. There will be great food and drink, door prizes and raffles.
Cover charge is $15/person, but if you buy 5 or more tickets, they will cost $10 per person. So bring your friends and family for evening of great “trop-rock” music.
Tickets will be available at the door, but you can pre-order by emailing Kirsten Jensen at Kirsten.jensen@sympatico.ca
