I have slowly weened off of Buffett shows and started adding BSU games (or just any football game) as a travel party. More stable and almost always on a holiday weekend or a Saturday.

We're BSU and Seattle Seahawks Fans,.... But, if we can tie both together with a Jimmy Show like we did last season in DC, we're there!! Loved the Labor Day Weekend Show last year in Bristow... Worked well with the Virginia Tech - Boise Game in DC.... If only that could happen in Vegas or San Diego it would be great... But, we're not holding any breath... However, if he played at the Gorge I think we'd have to make it happen... Not that far from Boise.... Come On!!! Where's the West Coast Dates, if any?

Just read in Esquire Magazine that JB is only doing a few WEST coast shows due to the price of gas for his planes. He said it is easily, and cheaper to fly around the EAST coast.

BS as in bi-sexual? ...cuz that would explain a lot about the whole San Francisco thing.

I believe Key West has a larger alternate lifestyle population than San Francisco.
Hey, Jimmy played the Fillmore at least once, right? THAT'S a concert I'd definitely get excited about if he ever did it again.

He's played it at least twice. I was at the most recent show there a couple of years ago. It rocked.
And the story Jimmy tells is that he wrote "Come Monday" over in Sausalito, just across the Golden Gate from SF. Back around 1973-74.

Think about it, folks;
Jimmy has played about every venue in SoCal over the years (I have seen him at 8 different venues within 120 miles of my house) and there are some venues that are within a drive that I'd LOVE to see Jimmy do, but some venues offer the experience, and some merely offer the show.
I'll wait for the schedule, thanks... (the milennium show was announced in June of '99...)

"Come Monday" is a song written and performed by American popular music singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett. It was first released on his 1974 album Living & Dying in ¾ Time and was his first Top 40 hit single reaching #30 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as #3 Easy Listening and #58 Country.
Buffett wrote the song to his wife while he was on tour. At a live performance in 1974, Buffett mentioned that he wrote the song heading out to California the previous year, so would have been written as he was "heading up to San Francisco for the Labor Day Weekend show" in 1973. The single version of the song replaces the third line, "I've got my Hush Puppies on," with "I've got my hiking shoes on."

If he announces a show in Boise, I'll make arrangements for a round trip to the moon

... However, I'm still holding out for San Diego or even Vegas if the timing is right, or the Gorge in Washington. If West Coast Concert locations aren't announced soon, we're off to Atlanta for a Labor Day Weekend Football Game between Georgia and Boise State. No Jimmy Show will fit into any other trip we can make.. Still hoping for some West Coast Dates soon!
