Actually, Jimmy needs to play Boise, Idaho to prove it isn't on "The Far Side Of The World" a lot of Parrotheads would show up from all over.... Boise would be rockin'..... Might have to have some "Blue Turf" on the stage and in the grass area........ Maybe he could have a concert at the BSU Stadium? Now that's a thought...... Plenty of seats and lot's of Blue Grass area.... Welcome To Boise...."The Not So Far Side Of The World"....

No, play Sandy Shores like Sammy Hagar did awhile back. That was frigging great.
I just do not get why he has not come back to the Gorge.

Never thought of Sandy Shores, but that would be Great! Super Acoustics and a great Venue for shows!

Cat's out of the bag. With the confirmation of the two Vegas dates, expect to see the rest of the West Coast schedule announced in the next couple of days.

Cities I was hoping he may still be visiting:
Irvine
San Francisco
Phoenix
Las Vegas
and the place that I pray for on a yearly basis - DENVER!!!!!
What? C'mon, of course he's playing the west coast. It's pretty much the same tour schedule he usually does. He'll hit the west coast and Vegas in September/October.

As far as venues go???.... I would love to see him at the Gorge.....great views of the river, camping/rving/tailgating, get tiem...though I think it's been off his radar for quite a while....
Seems like lots of ya'll don't like Vegas....I like Vegas...... I like going to the pre-parties and hangin' with my Buffett friends, I like strutting down Las Vegas Blvd in my concert grab and having Japanese tourist ask if they can take my picture, I like the post parties and the prospect that with a little imagination you can string together 3 or 4 concerts over the span of Friday to Friday and a few hundred miles on a rental car...... But that's just me......

We like the Vegas shows as well. If we want to see Jimmy we have to travel somewhere so it may as well be Las Vegas
Rates to Vegas are reasonable compared to even Toronto. Just cannot imagine a concert being more fun in TO than in Vegas. Hope to see ya'll there

I went to my first Vegas show last year and thought it was awesome. The pre- and post-concert excitement and energy are fantastic. Sure, once you're in the arena and the show starts it's a normal show, but it's still worth checking out.

I haven't been to a Vegas show yet. I have a hard time imagining the tail gate party being the same. How is the preshow excitement? What is it like?

There is no talegating in Vegas. Good pre-parties, but they have gotten very commercial and very expensive.

Damn that is what I was afraid of. The tailgate party is the best, makes it an all day event. How do we find out about the pre parties?

Both weekens have a street party nest to Mville before the show, MGM has a party before the show as well...nothing to exciting. Friday, usually the fist show they have the Last Man Standing Party, always a great time all in the name of charity. The Friday before the second show usually has a Reefer concert at Mville.

You'll also find a lot of information and fun people in the "Who's Going To" forum.

As we still sit and wait, wondering why the announcement of the West Coast Dates are so late? ..... Now I wonder if any dates other than Vegas will be? Guess we'll just keep looking daily to see?

There was that year he only played the Fillmore, which was a fun show but had very limited seating

Yes it definitely was. I would love to see another show there but tickets are so very limited......I was very very lucky to get one last time. I would love it if he did 2 bayarea shows, 1 there and 1 large venue but thats far to much to ask.

Don't give up hope yet. It wasn't all that long ago that fall dates were typically announced during the summer. A little bird did tweet that a Tuesday date between the two Vegas shows is likely for Shoreline.

I'd be happy with that - great way to celebrate 3 years of wedded bliss. Might even have some virgins in tow...
Hope is still alive, our patience may still pay off.

He does seem to show up for your anniversary every year.

Vegas had to be announced when the deal was done because there's just too much money at stake for the Hotel and the Venue.... Other West Coast Dates maybe will or maybe won't happen? I don't think it's looking that good and I'm usually an optimist...
