BN reported this little impromptu concert by JB last Saturday at a wedding in the Keys. Hey, Jimmy, stick around for 3 weeks and we can meet up down there for a beer, I'll even buy.....but I digress.
The article states that: Buffett showed no signs of effects from the sudden five-foot fall he took when finishing up a Jan. 26 concert in Australia. He was hospitalized for a brief period before being released Jan. 27, but had to cancel a scheduled concert in New Zealand to recover from injuries.
He mentioned the tumble to the audience of about 300 wedding guests, saying it was the first time he had performed before any group since the incident.
Didn't JB play at some benefit show with Kenny Chesney since "The Fall"? I could swear I saw him playing with his one elbow still wrapped in a bandage. If so, could it be that Bubba doesn't remember it??????
On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."
Tina Knee deep in the water somewhere, only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair? "We can't control the wave, but we can learn to surf."
My father had an expression "Them what HAS, GETS" seems to work for this situation.
Also found this on a St Barts forum about the upcoming Bucket Race crowd. I can't complain too loudly though, I was there for the Le Select party in '09.
CROWDS
Surprisingly not too busy so far. No problems parking downtown or in St. Jean. There have been a couple of cruise ships show up, but they didn't seem to make it overcrowded. We're wondering what the Bucket crowds will be like, especially now that there is the rumor JB will be playing with Bankie Banks Saturday night!
