I can't remember the last time I had a sit down dinner in KW. :D

We had great plans for them but only ended up with 2 I think. Blue Heaven and Cafe Sole - both of which were excellent but we had SUCH plans for others! :D

HAHA! I did eat breakfast at BH, but never dinner. Isn't that why we all have the disease. There are always things we want to do but never get there.

We WILL get to "Better than Sex" for dessert this year though! It was closed when we walked by on our last night!

Sorry, Penny. I must admit, i am a bit of a pen snob. if I am working the desks, I leave my good pens in my office.
Pen thievery was such a rampant thing at my office that I'd leave a stash of non-working ones on my desk for the taking.

I had a bad experience there a few years back.
The bartender was rude and a local made a couple cracks at me and my buddy's Buffett shirts.
I remember he yelled "wear a louder shirt next time" as we walked off the deck to leave.
The place seemed kinda "pinky up" to me anyway and the view is not THAT friggin' great that I should have to put up with snobs. I prefer the hole in the wall joints.

Without Buffett fans I wonder how their sales would be affected........ [smilie=huh-ani.gif]

How many of us would have even gone to Key West the first time without being a Parrothead? Probably not me....... :o :pirate:

I went to Key West several times before I was a *parrothead*. Of course the term had yet been created in the late 1970s.

I BECAME a Parrothead after my first visit. The hotel I was staying at had some cool steel drum music that played on their website - I called them to find out if there was a CD, and the person I spoke to said "You have to listen to some Jimmy Buffett before you come down. And the rest is history!

In 2007, I ordered an expensive steak and it was the worst steak I ever had. They did take it back and didn't charge me. That taught me never to buy a steak in fish country, nothing better than a Montana beef or bison steak. It was way over priced. The after deck is really fun, but I can get just as good of a view from the pier at the Casa.

However, Flip Flop, if you go this year, please drag me along, I would have loved to be there last year with Frinzi.

That is a very true statement! When traveling stick to the local cuisine for the best food........ :pirate:
