Camera At Nashville?

Hello All,
I have been to a Buffett concert in Vegas at the MGM Grand and all cameras were allowed. Can anyone tell me if that is true at Nashville?
Who makes the rule about cameras? Is it the artist, or the venue?

Sigh.. Nashville was a fun time last year.. until it flooded..

Most venues will have a web page that lists their policies, cameras, drinks entering (most only allow one unopened water), chairs, umbrellas.....The problem with cameras is that most cell phones have cameras and they won't ban them so many venues have accepted a policy where the small pocket cameras are OK but not the cameras with interchangeable lenses. I think it's the policy of the venue to protect the image of the performer.

Dunno who makes the rules. I had my handy dandy digital camera with me at the Nashville show last year, though and nobody said anything.

Until recently, I worked at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach.
The artists are ultimately the ones who come up with the camera policies.
Cell phones take horrible concert pictures - so they really don't care about them.

Pretty sure you can bring a camera into Bridgestone Arena. Wait....is that it's name, still ? That arena has had about 184 different names.[exaggeration]

I've used my camera for pictures and video nearly every time I've been in there. They're allowed, just no professional lenses.

I was front row in Tampa, and was not allowed to use a handycam, even just to take still shots. Was told both by the venue security and Charleston.

What's the point of "no cameras" when virtually every cell phone has a built in camera?
