Wish he'd do a last-minute dress rehearsal gig - the ACL Live venue is fantastic.

I MUST make it to the venue for a concert or free taping....there are tapings coming up on the blog (no tickets yet). The free tapings will be great.

I've actually taken my wife to see the pop singer Robyn and also to a SXSW party there with Liz Phair - so nothing Americana yet.
The acoustics are amazing, as are the sightlines. It sets a new benchmark for watching live music in Austin, which is why they're landing people like Mellencamp, Steve Miller, and Widespread Panic for theater shows.

I see Jackson Browne on the schedule soon too. I also read that the farthest a seat is from the stage is 75 feet. That is great with 2750 seats. I think that is what it said.

I'd imagine it'll be pretty difficult to get drawn to attend, but more will be able to attend than before.
