Prayer and Phin Power Request

My friends Byron and Lynn's 3 month old daughter Samantha (Sammie) is having a shunt inserted today at 9:30 CMT If you guys could life could lift up a prayer and some positive thoughts I would really appreciate it.

Dear, Lord, we always thank you for your special blessings and the special people in our lives.
I have never met Brad, or his friends, but please keep a special watch over little Sammie and bring them all comfort as she gets better and better after this medical procedure. Please give the health professionals special abilities to KNOW the right things to do. Give us the words to pray in Jesus name. Amen

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Sammie made it out of surgery with flying colors and should get to come home in a few days.

Many prayers for Sammie. Trying not to be presumptuous, but does she have hydrocephalus?
I can only encourage her family to reach out to other families with children with this condition...there will be long periods of stabilization and some shunt adjustments...but being connected with other families could help both Sammie and her parents as they make this journey.

BTW, My Mom has also has a shunt.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

She does... My wife also has hydrocephalus so she has given them some advice and encouragement, but I will also pass on your suggestion and I agree that community and connection are important in these situations.
