Training at Rutgers...best airport to fly into?
Ok east coast people. I need some help. I may be going to Rutgers for a week-long training class this summer. Not sure which airport I should fly into. EWR is the obvious choice, but are JFK or LGA any closer? PHL?
I can rent a car but don't really want to.

EWR is easiest. Then you can take the airlink to NJ Transit, which stops right in New Brunswick.

Airlink is a tram that goes from EWR to the train station in Newark. Then you get on NJ Transit, which is the railroad and that goes straight to new Brunswick, where Rutgers is located. Super easy.
Incoming PM.

Mal........EWR is the right choice. It's not that far. Stay away from NYC airports.......you'll be on the road to Rutgers longer than it takes to fly from Colorado.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

EYW it is.
I'll know by the end of this week if I got approval to attend.
Thanks for everyone's PMs. I'll be in touch if I'm headed out that way!

Re: Training at Rutgers...best airport to fly into?
Right now it's a matter of cost. I'll have to pick a different conference/training if this one is too prohibitive. Otherwise, I'll end up in Chicago, NY, or San Francisco for a few days in June.flipflopgirl wrote:Carolinadreamin' wrote:Mal........EWR is the right choice. It's not that far.
