I'm sure this plan only applies to people making more than $250k per year. Fortunately, there is a republican majority in the congress and this has zero chance of ever seeing the light of day.

Solution: Drive backwards. (For those unable to drive backwards because of transmission failure or XX chromasomes, refer to Ferris Bueller's Day Off)

:D If that doesn't work, talk to this guy:
The City of Sherwood Police recently arrested a person suspected of running an online used car scam...

...Once the sale was completed, the victim drove away in the Audi and noticed the odometer was going in reverse. This led to police involvement and the subsequent investigation.

...Officers arrested Tigard resident Justin Allen Ebensteiner, 21, and lodged him at the Washington County Jail and charged him with two counts of identity theft, a count of first-degree forgery and a count of submitting false odometer disclosure.

The State of Utah has toyed with this idea every couple of years for the last 20 years.

And this is different from raising the gas tax how?....
But I don't see anything about only applying this tax to anyone making over 250,000 , just that he had promised not to raise taxes on people making less than 250,000, this sounds like a "flat tax"....

(One I'd be heavily subject to at some of my clients, one requires a 140 mile round trip :-( )
