On Saturday I got there with several friends around 5:00 and weren't standing outside of our car for more than 2-3 minutes before having some JLL employees roll up in a golf cart and tell us we had to go inside. I mean, really? Why didn't they just whip out some cattle prods while they were at it. For a business SO concerned about the safety of their attendees, why did I witness dozens of people stumbling around on the lawn after having a healthy amount of their $11-$13 beers? If JLL was REALLY serious about their intentions, they'd bar alcohol from their venue altogether. But no, that'd be too much of an impact to their bottom line. Instead they've created a policy designed to help it in guise of "public safety".

Debating if I want to cancel my Buffett tickets by disputing the charge on my credit card. Let JLL/Live Nation eat the VISA/MC transaction fee for being completely ignorant and narrow minded in their policies, and get none of my money on top of it.
So many of these stories are hard to believe that the incidents occured in this country....... :o
I agree. If I didn't know any better, I would think JLL is in Canada!!

Really? My experience in Canada has always been that they were pretty chill about stuff.
At the 07 show, the Metro cops were walking along the boulevard between the parking lot and the street passing out tickets for drinking in public. And the park cops were walking around the parking lot enforcing the no tailgating policy. I suspect this years concert will be much the same.

With eight weeks until Jimmy's show at JLL I thought this post should be back on page 1 for a little while
