Many of you knew this was coming, but for those who haven't heard, the 2 day Trop Rock festival in Stowe Vermont is ready to start selling tickets. Tonga Tam and I created Island Vibes Entertainment last year with the sole intent of bringing Trop Rock to the region. It's happening!

On the weekend of Aug. 5-6th we, along with a couple of local partners, are featuring Nadirah Shakoor & her band Outside Art, introducing Original Coral Reefer Roger Bartlett's new band The Ugly Smugglers, John Frinzi, Kelly McGuire, Homemade Wine, John Reno, Latitude, ParrotBeach, plus New England's favorites The Island Castaway Band and Vermont's own Island Time Steel Drums.
We will begin selling tickets to the general public this Saturday morning but til then we are giving our Parrothead phamily and phriends the chance to buy beforehand.

For the next 48 hours, go to http://www.islandvibesentertainment.com and click on the festival logo for the "Beach House on the Mountain" festival. This will bring you to our festival page where there will be a link to buy tickets at the bottom of the page. Once on the ticket page there are options for Friday tickets, Saturday tickets, Weekend Passes and a Hotel & Festival Package at the hotel where the festival is being held. Each has a code. Enter the code of the product you're interested in plus the email address that you want your receipt sent to and it will begin the process of buying your tickets. You can buy using a credit card or Paypal.

On Saturday, May 21st, the http://www.beachhouseonthemountain.com website will go live, with much more information on the festival, including other lodging options that are pet friendly, the entertainment schedule and other important information.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope to see you all in Stowe!!!

wCs! For anyone who hasn't been up here it's absolutely a beautiful place and Stowe is amazing. There are other things to keep you occupied as well. I'm SO excited that this has all come together. My only regret is my house isn't big enough to hold everyone!!! But there are hotel deals and there are NO bad hotels in the area, truly.

Hope a lot of you can make it!

I'm just grateful that my office is right up the street and I'll have someplace to PARK! It's right on the bike path too so you can park along the way and walk easily.

I am tempted ........ 8)

I'm driving 7+ hours south tomorrow to take my 11 y/o son
to the Charlotte Motor Speedway
for a Dad/Son NASCAR bonding weekend.

Gonna teach him about cars with horsepower and girls with tube tops. That sort of thing.
