I took one for the team and volunteered one of my dogs for our tech student. We did xrays on Tina, and I was concerned about her hips. Come to find out that she has two items floating around her. One is most certainly in her belly. I am sure it is the ring that comes from the bags of ice we buy. JB is to blame since I like mine my frozen. The other is something weird...not sure what it is or where it came from.
My boss is confident that she can find it...but it is like finding a needle in a haystack. Stressed because I know how surgeries like this can go. Where is it...why can't I find it?!?! And if they can't find it, where will it end up?!?! My boss comforted me the best she can...but what if they can't find it. UGH!!! Send phin power and lots of alka seltzer!

Going to make it quick, because I am going back to work to babysit Tina and the other foreign body surgery we had today. But she is doing ok. A couple of more days, and it was going to be a heck of a lot worse. Once I get settled, I will fill you in!

Ok..Tina ended up going last due to someone else being more critical. We didn't go in until around 2. We found both..yup, both cat toys she ate. My boss said that if he hadn't gone in when we did, all sorts of badness would have happened. And the surgery would have been much worse/complicated. Due to her size, and their size, it really would have done a number on the intestines. She is resting pretty comfortably...correction, the twit is sleeping. I am guessing she is going to have a better night than me! 1 1/2 hours, and I can take a nap!
The splinter thingy is still there. To the best that we can tell, it is somewhere in a muscle/skin...not in an actual body part. Still don't know what we are going to do with that yet!
