That stinks. Did the lack of heat screw up your plans?

Why no sell out, just compare, it's definitely the ticket cost in this economy.
2012
Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Jake Owen at Gillette in August... $114.13 per person incl fee's etc. at the other end of the field. It has big screens so who cares. 4:30pm start
Parking $60.00, can tailgate there.

2011
Jimmy Buffett
Last June, section 10
$128.00 + $21.00 + $7.50 (marked on the ticket)+ 30 or 40 for the premium parking.
Starts at 8:00

I'll be at the show. I'm not complaining about the cost. I will be complaining about his retirement too soon for my liking. What will we be doing 5 years from now (or less).
Parrothead conventions that one of the nights a full concert will be shown on a big screen and that will be the Buffett concert for that year.

In a few short years watch for....
Jimmy Buffett's "You Had To Be There, The Video Collection 1974 - 201?"
Twenty-four hours of Jimmy's Greatest Live Performances on 6 two sided DVD's!
From Mailboat Records & Tapes & CD's & DVD's & VHS & Beta (somebody must still have one) & Lazer discs & downloads etc., etc., etc Available at all Margaritaville, hotel's, casino's, bar and grills, coffee shops, burger joints, shrimp joints, health clubs, Air Margaritaville terminals, mall kiosks!
Just no live shows anymore.
I would buy this also.
Oh come on . . . parking is free at Great Woods. Only communists and Canadians park in the pay lot. The cost is similar, overall. And, speaking personally, I prefer stumbling around a Buffett tailgate getting free shots from strangers way more than sitting in a half full stadium with 12$ beers listening to a warm up act (don't care who it is).

I know some of our club members pay to be in that lot - I don't get it, it's the dullest lot in the place! And I LIKE hanging out afterwards listening to the re-play, eating Carol's rice krispie treats and brownies! I'm generally not in a big hurry to leave the day behind once the show is over!

And yes it's disturbing that I agree with Jon twice in one day! :D

Wanna try for three? Other than those gosh darn horrible winters Vermont is the finest state there is!!!!!! :D

(and hanging out after the show at Great Woods is as much fun as the pre-show tailgate. I love the fireworks (whoever does that - thank you!!!!), picking the buzz back up, watching the 15,000 idiots get in their cars and wait for four ours while the 2 - 3 thousand real fans hang out and enjoy the night. Good times abound).

Not a Canadien, definitely not a commie. Don't care where I park. I don't go see all of the acts usually when I go to Chesney either. My point was that for about the same money somebody trying to get the most bang for their buck will go see the show that lasts longer with more acts, a wider variety of music, especially in this day and age.
I go to both shows. The JB show is the all day event where for KC, we go to his concert.
Now go have a shot and a beer, it's Saturday!!!!!

Hope to make it back this year so I booked Red Roof for June 22-24th...only time will tell.
