"Planking" ..... Seriously?

Post by surfpirate »

And a number of athletes, such as Gilbert Arenas, have led the charge.
Here's a look at some players who have flaunted their planking talents.

I remember the time that no sane heterosexual male would do this.

These are not "sane heterosexual males". They are professional athletes.

I just love this ...... from Wikipedia (so it must be true):

The lying down game spread to the rest of the world
where it has also been known as
"시체놀이" or "playing dead" (South Korea),
"à plat ventre" or "On one’s belly", (France),
"extreme lying down", (Australasia),
"facedowns" (USA and Ireland),
and "Planking" (Australia & New Zealand and worldwide).

Seriously? "Extreme Lying Down"?

Only when I could find it on sale . . $28 per pound? Are you kidding me?
During high school and college I went to Bristol Bay every summer for the Sockeye season... we got 24 cents a pound!
Yeah, it was a long time ago, but it's still hard for me pay $28/lb for a piece of fish!
