I've never really been a college football guy. I pull for UCONN now that they've finally gone D-1, but I don't really pay too much attention. Now that I've imported my girlfriend, though, it seems I'm stuck rooting for this team

Rocky Top you'll always be home sweet home to me...
Watching USF/Notre Dame right now. USF needs to finish them.
I saw this online after the lighting forced the halftime weather delay:
Notre Dame stadium being evacuated due to lightning. Officials believe that unlike the Irish offense, the lightning can find the end zone.

Some pretty "interesting" uniforms in the first week's games........
Oregon had their "Darth Vader" look going on: All black uniform, flat black helmet, and then those dayglo green shoes.......OMG. Guess the Ducks kind of started this "mix & match" look. How many combinations do they have now?????
University of Hawaii was it's usual "fashion statement", too.
But Georgia???????

What "look" were they going for now anyway? Good grief, those helmets, that uni.......
On the flip side, Penn State continues with its conservative blue jersey/white pant home uniform. No helmet pic. Nothing. At least the home uniform is better than the away, all white, looks-like- I-work-in-a-kitchen outfit......please Joe, maybe consider some blue pants!

or just learn to tolerate the insanity. as a tip, it's always fun to mention the stuffed and mounted Woody Hayes punching an opposing team's lineman they keep in the training center. And the Tyrelle Pryor "Greatest Ethical Victories" panorama down the hall....

Are my eyes deceiving me or when I checked the scores this morning did I see Boise State traveled to Atlanta and beat UGA?

You are correct, sir. Lots of unhappy people around here today because of that. They're in the minority since the rest of the SEC seemed to fair pretty well, unless you're an Ole Miss fan.

Larry, Boise put it on UGA... Boise looked really good against one of the weaker SEC teams, It is a good win for them on the road... I pick Boise now with the schedule they have to be undefeated again, unless TCU gets them...

So Auburn having to score 10 in the last 4 mins to beat a WAC team at home is faring well?

E.J. Manuel looked good now that he's the full time qb for FSU's offense.
The big game with Oklahoma is in two weeks and I hope it's not a repeat of last year.
Boise State looked good but #5 is supposed to beat #19 so it's not a shock to me.
I liked Georgia's uniforms. Too bad they did not help them.
TCU is back to TC Who.
South Florida beat Notre Dame pretty good and it was not as close as the final score. They're good and I think they'll be ranked soon.

They get a W for the week and that turned a crappy game around for their fans.
