The Hokies waxed Virginia and have a chance to avenge their only loss next week vs Clemson.
I guess my prayer for VT and Clemson not to Clemson themselves didn't completely work out.

Well we'll see what next week brings.......but my thoughts are Clemson is going to have to recapture the spirit of week 8 if they plan to go to the Orange Bowl......but either way.......I can't lose......

if VT can win at least they can say "hey we avenged our loss and won our division. What about us?"

Haven't seen any Gator fans posting here in a long time.
But, just curious what they think now that 1 year after needing to "be with his family & having health issues" & bailing on UF Urban Meyer is resurfacing in the coaching biz. Amazing that 1 year later his health issues have been completely taken care of.

On sports radio here they talk about that a lot lately.
Every time I turned on the tv he was there so maybe he took his family with him?
I've heard some say he bailed because the cupboard was empty but I don't think that's the case. I mean you're still at Florida so I don't buy that.
Who knows for sure?

I heard him say in the interview that he also left because he didn't like the current state of college football and what it had become. WTF??? Like it has changed in a year and gotten any better? That's a laugh riot, considering where he has decided to start coaching again. Does he really think he can keep the sanctions hammer from falling on OSU?

Due to work I had to celebrate Thanksgiving late, so had a great feast this past Saturday.
It was like there was already a present under the tree.

LSU vs. Alabama. I'm one person who won't watch. Why? 1...we've already seen it, and it was a crappy game. 2...In a system with no playoffs (in other words, not every team has an honest chance to win a title), why is a team that not only didn't finish 1st in it's own conference, but DIDN'T EVEN TAKE 2ND in their own conference being allowed to play for the title?
I understand the concept of the Wild Card is prevelant in sports. Yes, my Green Bay Packers were a wildcard when they won the Super Bowl this year! The Cardinals were a Wild Card when they won the World Series....in other words, neither team finished in first. But since there is no playoff in college football, there is only a system that is built to exclude teams from having a shot, rather than include them...why shouldn't there be a criteria that a team should at least be their own Conference Champ before being given a shot at the Mythical National Championship? For the record...LSU won the SEC. GEORGIA, not Alabama, was the 2nd place team.

ahahaha yeah a neutral field. You needed the refs and Delany to bail you out again. Enjoy another fraudulent rose bowl and getting your ass handed to you again by Oregon.
Your kicker must have taken lessons from the basketball team on flopping. Pathetic. You must be proud of those bowls and all those national championships ........oh wait Bitchema and Count Dracula have zero.

C'mon MSU....you guys acquitted yourself well in this game. I know it was a tough pill to swallow because Wisky hasn't shown they're a better team than you, yet they're going to Pasadena.
There is no reason why you shouldn't be a force to be reckoned with in the future as long as Coach D sticks around, but don't whine about the running into the kicker call. Sure the punter flopped, they all do, BUT he WAS run into and that's a five yard penalty. That call is made EVERY DAY of the week.
Congrats to Wisky. Now go make the
B1G 10 proud & take care of bidness v. Oregon!

Poor baby, some sour grapes there:-)
Our kicker wouldn't have needed the extra flop if a moron on your team hadn't run into him. And the refs handed you the win at East Lansing this year as there was clearly not enough evidence to overturn the on the field call at the time.

Too bad such a great game had to end that way, but that's a call that's always going to be made. The punter made sure to "sell it", but that was going to draw a flag anyway. Had it been 4th and six, I think MSU still wins because Wisconsin would have punted again. I was watching with friends that insisted he was blocked into the punter, but when you slow it down you can see the Wisconsin lineman basically whiffed on the block as he went by. Touched his jersey, but that was about it.
The real game changer was the fourth down hail Mary that Wisconsin completed. Two defenders right there, yet he still caught the ball.
LSU-Bama? That makes the first time they play a meaningless game. You're saying LSU has to beat them twice to get the title, but Bama only has to beat LSU once? I hope Alabama wins, just to get everybody's underwear bunched up and maybe we'll be one step closer to a playoff.

I agree with you! Not a fan of seeing an LSU vs Bama rematch.......although I hope Bama beats them......
I really wish I had lots of money to go to both the Orange and Sugar Bowls!!!!!

Sounds like sour grapes from you regarding the first game. Replay looked pretty conclusive that he broke the plane to me (I'm a
M fan so I dislike the Spartans). I think the catch by Nichol caught the refs by surprise. Unfortunately, todays refs (knowing they've got replay to fall back on), tend to be verrrry passive in their on field calls. In game 1 refs didn't have the kahona's to make the TD call .
I realize you've got a nice little B*tchfest going back & forth with MSU#1 so sorry if I'm butting in.....but can't help but add my 2 cents.
