I was SO close to saying yes. They were throwing in $50 in food vouchers per game too. I really almost bit, but I do enjoy where I sit now. We actually end up spending more money when we sit club because of all the good food and drink. I spent most of the time in the lounge in the Seattle game watching the game from a leather chair.

No, they will give you the 199 seats for 149 if you agree to 3 years. That's what we did. You need to be persistent though...
Wow..didn't know that. Thanks!

That's funny!! Mrs RIPH loves those chairs too... She will read a book while watching the monitors!!

We are turning this into the Tampa Bay thread!!!

Thanks for the heads up about seating. I can hold my own with drunk home fans..... if I did it in DC, I can manage Tampa, but backup would definitely be preferable.

This has been low key this week, but it bolsters my argument that Peyton Manning is an amazingly down to earth guy.
Apparently he re-signed for a five year, $90 million deal and HE'S the one that talked them out of paying him more. He encouraged the team to spend the extra money re-signing many of their free agents in an effort to build the talent of the team.
Dude is a frickin' class act all the way.

Well, my sister started her new job at the
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay two weeks ago.
She and my brother-in-law have moved into their new house, and I'm wondering if I should tell them now or later that they'll be having a house guest between September and December.
Especially on Christmas Day

They go on sale this morning at 10 (eastern) for all individual games.
That game vs. the Cowboys will go fast. Late season...night game....could be playoff / homefield implications.
Now I'm torn. I saw this about 45 minutes too late so the "best avail" for two seats isn't where I want to sit. However, if I go alone I can get a kick @$$ seat. Going to a Cowboys game alone in Dallas is one thing, going alone in Tampa is another thing.
Nothing to worry about in Tampa. I'm sure there will be a good amount of your fans as well.
Besides...get a cheap ticket and hang in the endzone with my group.

I have to disagree with this. At times, you do have to worry about the home fans in Tampa. Trust me - I've been going forever. The sections that are the rowdiest are in the corners over by the pirate ship. And I sat there for 8 or 9 seasons until I finally got moved to a less obscene section when I couldn't take it anymore. These sections were losing season ticket holders and they started selling the tickets to folks on Ticketmaster so you'd get a different group every week.
I'm sure it's not more than any other stadium, but some Tampa fans (especially for late games when all that booze kicks in) are not friendly at all to opposing fans. I've seen it time and time again in Ray Jay and in the old stadium.
Yeah, I hear ya on some of those points. I was a season tix holder in the Sombrero for years (Sec C row 3) and then transferred to the new stadium ( Sec 202 Row A) and did my 10 years there through the agreement. They raised the price by 30% and I bailed. Tix went from $75 to $99 per seat per game. It was simple economics.
That’s why you saw a different crowd for every game, in some sections of the stadium.
I’ve been to a ton of games and watched some BAD Buccaneers football. Never got in an altercation and never heckled (beyond fun) a visiting fan.
If you’re looking for trouble you’ll find it…and that goes for anywhere.
I’m a 48 y/o “somewhat”

professional man…I don’t go to the games with the intent of coming home with bloody knuckles or a black eye. If I was one that loved to get stupid and fight...I would have plenty of dancing partners
If she went to DC in Cowboys gear….then I’m sure she can hang in Tampa. She’d have back-up with my group…no doubt.
With that being said....bring on the season!!!

Holy crap. Jamie Dukes agrees with Jon about Romo..... (somewhat)?
He mentioned that Romo cannot be considered to be a great quarterback until he can prove that he is a leader and he has not done that yet. He mentioned, yes he has put up pretty good numbers during the season but has never been able to do what Tom Brady or Peyton Manning has done, take responsibility on when things go bad and say that HE will make sure that that bad time will not happen any time soon again. He mentioned if you look at what he does is just shrug off his performances.

short of him bludgeoning Jerry Jones to death on the Star like a baby harp seal and then relieving himself on the corpse, there is no way Romo can assure fans that the team will be safe from stupidity on his watch.

Went to Chiefs Pratice last night, they look really good. With our schedule we have this year I am hoping for 9-7 maybe 10-6. The offense is going to be really good..
