Looks like the secondary still needs a little work, but I'm happy to see anything with a W, even if it is pre-season.

Seahawks pulled off a stunner last night.
Nice to see but pre season is pre season.

Both Jenkins and Newman didn't play last night. They will help when the time comes. Plus, Rob Ryan isn't going to tip his hand at all. What we see in pre-season will be very different from what we see on 9/11 in New York.

I have to be in Jackson, Mississippi for a wedding the day before. I was thinking of heading down to Biloxi, just because I'd never been, but I may have to race home instead to watch the game. I do not enjoy missing football games.

It's the Sunday night game (8:20 PM start). And I'm pretty sure they have TV's in Biloxi.

I'll totally be at my regular bar with my crowd watching by then. Hell, I may even still be in my bridesmaids dress. Goal for this wedding weekend (if I scrap Biloxi) is to leave the reception as early a possible, make it as far back as Tunica and play slots and blackjack all night it my fancy blue dress. I may wear it to watch the game since it's still appropriately colored.

Looks like the Redskins are going to win, for whatever that's worth.

Last night my Chiefs used as a very bad pratice, oh well last year we didn't win a preseason game. We still made the Playoffs, Tampa Bay has a good team, to bad they also have Atlanta & NO in conf..

I'm just hoping that because of all the big signings, that the Eagles will fall flat and land in last place.

And there is something Redskins and Cowboys fans have in common. At least we can agree on our mutual dislike of the Eagles.

I hate posting from my phone. There's always some stupid typo that my phone inserts and I can't see all the text on the screen.
Second, Vince Young was a crappy quarterback for the Titans and I never liked him. The fact that he's gone to the Eagles just means I don't have to even mildly support his lackluster efforts.

Anyone want to play Pick Em?
Simple rules:
1. You pick one team per week to win (no spread).
2. Once you pick a team you cannot use that team again (so you might want to wait on Philly, GB, NE, etc.).****
3. Once you lose you are out.
4. Last man (or woman, but lets be serious . . .

) standing wins.
**** Honor code. I see no need to go back and look at someone's prior picks. If you are stuck choosing between a team like Buffalo or Carolina late in the season because you used up all the good teams early then just choose. No cheating. If you are out then just post "I'm out". (Tommy, you can pick Miami every week if you want . . . until they lose their 10th game . . .

).

As seen on one of my social networking feeds this morning:
If Miami gets death penalty, I would say a fair replacement for ACC would be the Dolphins. There's a drop-off in talent, but they'd compete.

a couple more years, yeah, the Dolphins might be up to ACC grade.
