All Bradie James is saying is there have been many players that came before the current team that made the Cowboys great. There may be some in the organization that have expected to win, just because they are "America's Team". They have learned that is not how things work. The current team hasn't earned their greatness.aeroparrot wrote:Would love to get the resident Cowboys fans take on this. Seriously.

Agreed. And it's nothing that Garrett hasn't been emphasizing with the team. He's been trying to instill a work ethic that Wade didn't push hard enough. This team hasn't done anything to earn the respect it seems to be handed at the beginning of every season.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:All Bradie James is saying is there have been many players that came before the current team that made the Cowboys great. I like it... Sounds like a guy that wants to prove himself and be among the greats that have played in Dallas.
even more if the roster enlargement for additional games had gone thru negotiations.Rabbitz wrote:Awww Geez now I have snorted milk out of my nose.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:If you are having trouble choosing a team to root for, this chart may help...
Because, you see, here in Oz "root" does not mean "support a team".
It is a euphemism for that thing that a "mummy and daddy who love each other very much" might well do in the privacy of their own home.
So rooting for a whole team must take some energy.....
I love he's making the rookies earn their star.maid memories wrote:Agreed. And it's nothing that Garrett hasn't been emphasizing with the team. I loved that when I read it. I also read he's making them earn their silver pants. Rookies just get white.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:I love he's making the rookies earn their star.maid memories wrote:Agreed. And it's nothing that Garrett hasn't been emphasizing with the team. I take no offense to funny jokes. I'm just sick of people rhyming "nomo" and "homo" with Romo. Keep it original if you expect me to laugh, and that my friends is funny.aeroparrot wrote:TommyBahama wrote:we were talking football and QB's last night...and i Mentioned Tony Romo.....and a friend came out with the best nickname for him...The Human Pez Dispenser.....hit him and the football comes out!!![]()

I don't care who you are, that's just funny.
No worries Larry, at the end of the day, I think he did OK. Meet his wife, Candice Crawford...LIPH wrote:I think Tony Romo has poor taste in women. He went from Carrie Underwood to Jessica Simpson. Really? I'm no fan of Carrie Underwood but that's the textbook definition of trading down.

He went from Jessica Simpson to Carrie Underwood. Fandom aside, Jessica is sweet, incredibly down to earth and funny. Carrie has the personality of a wet mop when she's not reading a teleprompter. It was trading down.LIPH wrote:I think Tony Romo has poor taste in women. He went from Carrie Underwood to Jessica Simpson. Really? Don't even get me started on Rapistberger. He's disgusting.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:And better than 14/15 of the tramps the Tiger ruined his marriage with...RinglingRingling wrote:definitely better than the barslut Rothlisberger is using for respectability at the momentLeft Field ParrotHead wrote:No worries Larry, at the end of the day, I think he did OK. I met one of those bimbettes at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone restaurant. I miss that place.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:And better than 14/15 of the tramps the Tiger ruined his marriage with...RinglingRingling wrote:definitely better than the barslut Rothlisberger is using for respectability at the momentLeft Field ParrotHead wrote:No worries Larry, at the end of the day, I think he did OK.
